Games Console Repair in London
A console that powers on with no picture is almost always a damaged HDMI port, and that is a micro-soldering job — the port has to come off the board and a new one go back on without lifting a pad. It is precision work, we do it in-house, and it is dramatically cheaper than a replacement console.
The other three faults we see constantly are overheating and thermal shutdowns, disc drives that grind or refuse to eject, and controllers with drifting sticks. All three are stocked repairs. PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo consoles are all welcome.
Consoles collect an extraordinary amount of dust. If yours has started sounding like a hairdryer or shutting itself down mid-game, a deep clean and fresh thermal paste will usually bring it back — and it is the cheapest thing on this page.

Games Console Repair FAQs
My PS5 turns on but there is no picture — can you fix it?
That is the classic damaged HDMI port, usually from a knock to the cable while it was plugged in. We micro-solder a replacement port onto the board, which is far cheaper than replacing the console. Bring it in and we will confirm the diagnosis first.
Do you repair Xbox and Nintendo Switch as well as PlayStation?
Yes. PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo consoles are all repaired here — HDMI ports, overheating, disc drives, power faults and controllers.
My console is loud and keeps shutting down. What is wrong?
Almost always dust and dried-out thermal paste. Our console deep clean strips it down, purges the dust, replaces the thermal compound and reassembles it. Most consoles come out quieter than the owner remembers them being.
Can you fix controller stick drift?
Yes. Drifting analogue sticks, dead triggers and worn bumpers are all repairable, and it is a quick, low-cost job compared with buying a new controller.
